 There are very few books which have the capability to change the way you look at the world and I must say "Sapiens" is one such book. Written from a broader perspective this book presents the timeline of our species by highlighting the events that shaped our history and eventually led us to our current civilization. Accompanied with the findings of science(including historians) it gives reader a sense of understanding about various aspects and their evolution from language, human behavior to changes in biosphere caused by us. Personally, it helped me connect the dots from my vague knowledge of history to answer some of the questions that have perplexed me over the years. In the end it discusses the current advancements that we have made and the tools we have by our hands which will be used for progress of our species in turn shed some light on what lines one should think when contemplating about the future.
